Through a variety of content such as reading materials, events, and products, Hobonichi Co., Ltd. (hereafter "Hobonichi") creates and delivers ideas and projects to make people happy. So that everyone can enjoy the content, Hobonichi may at times request to provide personal information or other private information belonging to customers.

So that people can feel reassured when enjoying the company's content, it is the social responsibility of Hobonichi and all members of the Hobonichi team working at the company to handle your personal and private information that we keep with care and safeguard it. Privacy Guidelines

1 When gathering personal information: • Stipulate the exact purpose for using the information and clearly provide the details so that the customer can understand and verify.; • Before gathering the information, obtain customer consent for the purpose of use.

2 When using personal information: • Only use the information to carry out and accomplish the purpose of use consented to by the customer.; • When personal information is handled, it shall be announced in the Privacy Statement.; • Personal information shall only be handled by the personnel and contractors who must do so in order to operate the service.

If the service requires the involvement of contractors, this fact shall be announced in the Privacy Statement.; • Prior consent shall be obtained in the event of an alteration to the purpose of use or the provision of personal information to a third party. If consent is not obtained, the information shall not be used for any purpose other than the stated purpose of use and shall not be provided to any third party.

3 Management of personal information Hobonichi keeps: • Hobonichi shall lay out responsibilities concerning the safeguarding of personal information and privacy.; • Appropriate security measures shall be taken, with safety as the utmost priority.; • Hobonichi team members and contractors shall be trained and supervised so they are capable of properly handling personal information.; • After use, personal information shall be promptly and properly erased. If personal information the company keeps cannot be erased, it shall be rendered unusable.

4 Inquiries: • The company has formed the Information Reassurance Committee, the primary liaison for raising awareness within the company about safeguarding personal information and privacy and for carrying out relevant action and countermeasures.; • The Information Reassurance Committee can handle any inquiries and requests concerning the safeguarding of customers' personal information and privacy. Privacy Statement

To provide customers with a better service, Hobonichi Co., Ltd. believes it important to safeguard personal information and privacy.

We collect the following information to improve the quality of the Hobonichi Globe App (hereinafter "the App"). This information shall not be used to identify specific individuals.

Information collected by the App

Device information: To improve services, the App anonymizes how the customer uses the application and we use this information in statistical analysis. To that end, the App retrieves the "unique device identifier" and "device information" as described below. To understand how the application and website are used, we use Firebase Analytics, the application analytical tool from Google Inc., and Unity Analytics from Unity Technologies. Due to the specifications of these tools, the customer may not opt out.

Cookies: The App collects and uses the cookies described below to understand how the services are used. Collected information is anonymized before use in statistical analysis to help improve the services.

Provision to third parties

The App uses Vuforia Library by PTC Inc. As per PTC Inc. policy, some device information is transmitted in anonymized form to PTC servers, affiliated companies, and service providers while the App is in operation. Information identifying specific individuals is not used.

There is no shared use of information.

Amendments to the Privacy Statement

In the event of changes to how users' personal information and privacy are handled by the App, this Privacy Statement shall be revised and displayed within the App. Please confirm before using new services.
